Skylark – the first Skylark rocket launched in November 1957 and encapsulated cutting edge British aerospace engineering and ingenuity. Childhood friends with a passion for Real Rum

Indy Anand

Having worked for over 10 years in the City, Indy has gained a wealth of experience in building relationships with professional clients. His love for rum led him into the London RumFest almost 10 years ago but through his WSET 2 spirits qualification, he has learnt to appreciate all spirits for their diversity and complexity.

Indy has travelled the world to judge a variety of cocktail competitions, and most recently, judge at the World Drink Awards in 2018. He has also visited various distilleries globally including Foursquare, La Rouget De L’Isle and Mount Gay. With a keen eye and sophisticated palate, Indy is always on the hunt for new products to help bring to the growing UK market.

Chetan Ladwa

Chet was introduced to rum over a decade ago and instantly embraced the conviviality of the spirit. The sheer depth, breadth and history of rum awoke a passion in him to learn more and explore this beautiful distillate.

Chet is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He also has nearly 15 years of trading and broking experience within the City of London. Chet brings to the team a hunger for client focused sales and long-term relationship building that has been finely tuned and often crystallised over a neat rum!

Jaz Anand

Rum is in Jaz’s DNA! His great grandfather used to own sugar cane fields in British India and eventually moved to broking deals between suppliers and manufacturers in the 1850s.

From distillery trips to Barbados & Jamaica to going to Global Rumfests, Jaz has a variety of national and international contacts to source great quality cane spirits for the UK market.

Jaz has spent the last 15 years working for a range of global FMCG businesses in a variety of roles and categories including Coca Cola, Ferrero, BiC Philips and most recently the UK E-commerce lead for Maverick Drinks UK.
