SINGLE BARREL SELECTION
S.B.S Barbados 2008 comes from a marriage of South American and Carribean rum, which yielded 323 bottles. It is a molasses based rum, which was bottled in Denmark in March 2019. This is one of the more experimental single barrel editions. The rum received a Moscatel finish making a very interesting out turn.

Baked apples with soft spices of sandelwood and lemon thyme. The moscatel fnish adds a vinous touch and floral notes as well as a woody undertone. There is a bitter note to this rum reminding of orange marmelade.
Surprisingly strong and spicy with lush sweetness and pleasant vanilla notes. The fnish is very long with flavors of anise and wood.
