Coming from the fermentation and distillation of pure sugar cane juice or “Vésou”, the Agricole rum obtained at the end of the distillation process has an alcohol level of around 70°. Then, it is stored 12 to 18 months under high pressure in wood barrels to give it the gold colour.
Nose: Fresh herbs and grass with gentle notes of oak
Palate: Earthy and herbaceous with oak. Thick mouthfeel, and a long lasting finish
