S.B.S. El-Salvador 2008
SINGLE BARREL SELECTION
S.B.S El-Salvador 2008 comes from a single cask, which yielded 318 bottles. The rum has been distilled in a column still back in 2008. El Salvador 2008 is based on molasses and was bottled at an ABV of 55% vol. without using chill filtration or adding any other additives to the rum. This Single Barrel Selection expression is the first from El Salvador.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A rather unusual nose with a spicy touch and vegetative notes of celeriac and mustard seeds.
Palate: Lots of woody notes from the barrel with hints vanilla and coconut.
