S.B.S Fiji 2009 comes from a single cask, which yielded 253 bottles. It is a molasses based rum, which was distilled at the South Pacific Distillery in 2009 and bottled in Denmark in February 2020. Foursquare Distillery uses both column and pot stills for the production of rum. Distilled in a pot still, the rum carries unmistakable fruity aromas paired with a hint of petrol and pepper.
Nose: Complex with a clear pot still touch. Ground pepper and a mix of fermened exotics fruits. A hint of varnish and sweet almond.
Taste: Strong and intense profile with notes of petrol and a very dry, long-lasting finish. Aromas of pepper can also be found here.
