S.B.S Jamaica 2008 comes from a single cask, which yielded 261 bottles. The rum is a blend of rum from different Jamaican distilleries which all were produced in 2008 and matured in one barrel before being bottled in Denmark in March 2019. The combination of different distilleries is creating an interesting blend capturing the Jamaican way of rum. The rums were distilled in both pot and column stills and are all based on molasses.
Nose: Ripe tropical fruits like papaya, bananas and pineapples paired with a green grassy note.
Palate: Rich sweetness of tropical fruits combines with the bitterness of roasted coffee beans. Long finish with warm notes of darf chocolate and a hint of acetone.
