S.B.S TRINIDAD 1993
SINGLE BARREL SELECTION
S.B.S Trinidad 1993 comes from a single cask, which yielded 239 bottles. It is a molasses based rum, which is distilled by the now closed Caroni Distillery in 1993 and bottled in Denmark in March 2019. S.B.S Trinidad 1993 matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel.
The almost black color gives a good indication on the barrels influence on this rum. It’s no coincident this rum is called “The Beast”.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Strong aromas of wood paint and solvent with a clear influence of long maturation in an oak barrrel.
Palate: Intense flavors of leather and roasted coffee. Dry fnish with bitter and burnt elements.
