Bourbon & Port Cask Matured
S.B.S Jamaica 2010 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 329 bottles only. The rum is from a Jamaican distillery and is based on molasses. The rum has been distilled in a pot still in 2010 and was bottled in our warehouse in Denmark in August 2020. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon and port wine barrel and was bottled at an ABV of 52% vol. As common practise for Single Barrel Selection rums, no chill filtration has been used.
A blend of ripe, tropical fruits like pineapple, papaya and bananas paired with a hint of unripe nuts.
Powerful flavors of fermented fruits fading into notes of rubber and leather. The finish is dry and long.
